These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CountdownTimer.ai, including our website, dashboard, embeddable timers, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. In these Terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to the operator of CountdownTimer.ai.

1. The Service

CountdownTimer.ai provides server-synced countdown timers for emails and web pages, used to create authentic urgency in marketing funnels. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the Service.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your location, to use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• break any applicable law or regulation;
• mislead consumers with deadlines you do not intend to honor;
• infringe the rights of others or send unsolicited spam;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and free trial

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with reasonable notice for future billing periods. We offer a 14-day free trial; a valid payment method is required to start it, and you can cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. After the trial, your selected plan begins automatically. You can cancel at any time from your account, and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

5. Refunds

Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable. If something goes wrong on our side, contact us and we will make it right.

6. Third-party integrations

The Service connects with third-party tools such as email platforms and payment providers. Your use of those tools is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is active. Timers you create and embed remain yours to use in your own funnels.

8. Availability and disclaimers

We work hard to keep the Service reliable, but it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not liable for results that depend on your own funnels, offers, or traffic.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached or to protect the Service and its users.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email, and continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which the operator of CountdownTimer.ai is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
